COVID – 19 UPDATE: Horne Lake Caves is now taking bookings for cave tours starting June 1, 2020 and beyond.  This aligns with BC Parks reopening provincial campsites.

The Cave Park will begin limited operations on June 1 /20.

2020 SPRING – June 1 to June 30

PRE-BOOKED RESERVATIONS ONLY

2020 SUMMER – July 1 to Sept.6

Summer is our busy season. We recommend booking in advance to hold your spot.

  • Multi-Cave Experience (multiple times daily – reservations recommended)
  • Extreme Cave Rappel  (reservations required)

2020 FALL – Sept. 7 to Oct. 1

  • Main Cave Adventure (daily – reservations recommended)
  • Riverbend Cave Explorer (daily – reservations recommended)
  • Multi-Cave Experience (daily – reservations recommended)
  • Extreme Cave Rappel (daily – reservations recommended)
  • Cave Equipment:  Helmet with lights are available for rent at the Cave Park Visitor Centre ($13.50 + taxes). Due to WNS and the protection of local bat populations, no equipment or clothing worn in any caves off Vancouver Island will be allowed into the park’s caves.
  • Self Guided Caves are open 10am – 4:00pm daily.

2020 / 21  WINTER – Oct. 2   to Apr. 30

  • Winter trips can be very, very wet. Bring a complete change of clothes and a fun attitude. On rare occasions, winter tours can be cancelled due to high water.
  • TOURS AVAILABLE YEAR ROUND:  (limited availability Oct-Apr),  Multi-Cave Experience.
