Horne Lake Road is a 12km gravel road which should be traveled with care. A combination of rain and logging trucks using the road can result in potholes. Plan extra time to allow for road conditions as you will likely be traveling slowly on the logging road. Over the winter there can be snow on the road and snow tires/all weather tires are recommended. If concerned about road conditions call our visitor centre at 250-248-7829 for a current update.

Intermittent periods of snow on the road between January and March may result in tours needing to be postponed until the road gets plowed.
