Horne Lake Outdoor Centre - FULL MEAL PROGRAM
The Full Meal Program is designed to provide three meals a day
to camp participants. The food service is contracted out to
a local catering company that is famous for their wholesome
and nutritious meals. This program is full service and includes
all plates, utensils, glasses and tables. Students are usually
expected to assist with clean-up.
SAMPLE FOOD ITEMS
The following is a list of typical menu items that are served
at the camp. The caterer reserves the right to group the meal
combinations according to their scheduling demands.
Breakfast - scrambled eggs, bacon / sausages,
hash browns, pancakes, french toast, fruit, fruit juices, hot chocolate, milk, (coffee
/ tea for staff)
Bag Lunch - Chicken Caesar wrap, sandwiches,
pasta salad,
fruit, dessert and juice box
Dinner - roast chicken, lasagna, soft
tacos, chicken chow mein, steamed vegetables, buttered corn,
red roast potatoes, tossed or Caesar salads, beverages, fruit
crumble w/ whip cream
Snacks (optional, not included in meal
prices) - fruit, carrot cake, muffins, fruit
salad, apple crumble, rice pudding, English trifle, chocolate
cake
* Special dietary requirements can be accommodated, just let us know
in advance.
COSTS
Costs are based per person, per day in accordance with the
size of the group. This per day price is based on all 3 meals
served on the same day. Individual meal prices are listed
below for partial days.
