Overnight Options for Schools and Groups at Horne Lake Outdoor Centre

Thank you for considering Horne Lake Outdoor Centre! There are a few things you should know about our camp. We do not have any running water or power on our property so we provide a very rustic experience- an amazing opportunity for you and your group to unplug! If you are planning an overnight camping trip to our site, you will want to bring all of the necessary equipment. Our “Group Leader Checklist” can help you prepare. We also offer a catered meal service for groups that do not want to prepare their own food.

Camp in a Teepee – $6 +gst / person / night

Leave your tents at home! For a truly unique experience you won’t soon forget, try hanging out in our native style Teepees. Traditional features such as hand-peeled poles and roll-up door are combined with modern conveniences such as raised sleeping platforms and modern materials. These spacious shelters sleep 6 to 10 people comfortably and are located in our group sites. The sites have a group fire pit, covered eating area, pit toilets, and grass area for wide games. Minimum charge of $90 / night +gst applies for the Teepee site. Please add a $5 booking fee for all camping reservations.

Group Tenting - $2.50 +gst / person / night

If you decide not to stay in the Teepees, our campground has a beautiful area for group tenting in North Park . The sites are best suited for groups because they provide close proximity to programs, pit toilets, drinking water tap, and the main office. The group tenting site includes picnic tables and one group fire pit. Camping  is included in “Explorer” package or the sites can be rented individually. Minimum charge of $37.50 for the Group Tenting area applies. Please add a $5 booking fee for all camping reservations.
