a wide range of activities
for all ages and abilities. Visit one of British Columbia's
top attractions and discover great caving, canoeing, camping
and other great outdoor activities for families and
adventurous travellers. Horne Lake is located in the Oceanside
Region of Vancouver Island, just north of Qualicum Beach.

Horne
Lake Caves Provincial Park
 Open
daily for cave tours and self-guided exploration this Summer. Explore caverns filled with ancient fossils and
amazing crystal formations! Wide range of park programs from
Mild to Wild! Check out the 3-hour
"Spelunking Adventure". Great for children aged
8 and up, this fun trip highlights the incredible natural
forces that carved these marble passages and crystal caverns.
This thrilling adventure is a small taste of "wild"
caving, definitely a once-in-a-lifetime experience! Other
programs include Night Caving, a Family Cavern Tour
and
the longer 4 and 5 hour "Extreme" expeditions
featuring vertical climbing using ropes and harnesses. No
prior experience necessary and don't forget to bring your
camera!
Horne
Lake Regional Park is an excellent base camp to start
your adventures. This mountain jewel boasts crystal-clear
water, spectacular lakefront campsites and great family
adventures. Campers are free to explore on their own, rent
canoes or kayaks, join a guided cave tour or just relax on the
beach. Hike, bike, look for wildlife or drop a fishing line
into a well-stocked lake. Make your holidays something to
remember!
