My husband and I took the 4 hour adventure tour and it was great. Not for the claustrophobic or one who can’t hike. It starts with a hike up the hills through some beautiful forested country to the cave entrance. The caving involves belly crawling, rapelling and a very narrow, twisting cable ladder, what fun! All of the cave is quite narrow and doesn’t open up into any large rooms like some other caves we’ve done but the calcite formations are beautiful and they are doing a wonderful job in trying their best to preserve the integrity of the cave. The four story formation at the end is awesome! they also have self guided maps for the smaller easier caves which would be great for small children and shorter tours that are not as rigorous. The surrounding area is just gorgeous and worth the drive in itself.

What an exciting hoynemoon! Caving looks really cool but I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t want to do it. Unless of course, my kids were with me because, like the parents on your tour, I often find myself doing things with my kids that I would probably never dream of doing otherwise. And once we start I feel like I can’t let them see me quit so I find myself doing crazy things and wondering how I ever got talked into it and realizing afterward that it had been great fun.Lisa recently posted..
