another world on the Family Riverbend Cavern Tour. Learn about
the fascinating geology and history of these amazing caverns.
The tour starts with a 25 minute hike to the entrance along the Karst
Trail. While exploring the larger and easier passages of Riverbend
Cave, visitors are treated to beautiful crystal formations
and ancient fossils. Bring your camera!
There are no crawls or tight passages
involved in this tour. Travel in the cave is on natural rocky
floors and can be slippery. Participants must have sturdy
footwear and should be wearing long clothing. Helmets and
lights are provided.
No reservations req'd. - first come, first
serve. Tours leave every hour from 10am to 5pm.
PLEASE NOTE: Tours NOT available for children
under 5 or those with mobility challenges.
